One thing I absolutely loved about this hotel was its charming colonial-style decoration. The high ceilings, beautiful fittings, and elegant details added a touch of class and made me feel like I was stepping back in time. The hotel's general areas were immaculately maintained, creating a luxurious atmosphere. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the hotel's accessibility. The staff was always there to assist me, and everything was conveniently located for easy navigation.

The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to be a bit more patient and attentive. While the staff was generally exceptional, there were a few instances where they seemed slightly distracted or in a hurry.

The breakfast is very very good and outstanding with a wide range of dishes. The atmosphere of the hotel is quiet.

The location is nice, a 10-minute walk from a bus station. It offers nicely decorated and new-fashioned rooms, and has caring staff from reception to the restaurant staff to the housekeepers.

I had an amazing stay at The Hermitage, Jakarta. Great value for the money with spacious and clean rooms. The hotel's location in a quiet residential area near the business district was perfect. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service.

This hotel is absolutely mind-blowing! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and excellent service. The historical building is beautifully renovated and oozing with character. Despite being a smaller hotel, the staff provided 5-star service and made us feel genuinely cared for. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, with a lovely upgrade surprise upon our late-night arrival. The breakfast was outstanding and the hotel's central location was ideal, providing a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the rooftop pool with its breathtaking 360-degree views. The little attentions to detail, especially for our anniversary, made our stay even more special. We travel extensively, and this hotel has easily become one of our top favorites. We can't wait to return!

Fairly clean hotel in a beautiful building adjacent to the Hermitage itself, the skyline and Jalan Sudirman's shopping malls.

The hotel was QUIRKY and clean, reasonably large and stylish rooms. The location was magnificent and lovely, near to Jakarta as a whole, and the Hermitage itself, in a nice cozy area. Central Jakarta district was worth staying in.

The location is magnificent, the hotel is wonderful and the stuff are amazingly kind. The room is very classy with exceptional views of the Jakarta skyline. A rooftop restaurant serves superb food. This is a venue go-to for Jakarta!

One evening during our stay at The Hermitage, we decided to dine at the hotel's restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and presentation of the food. The flavors were exceptional and the portion sizes were generous. The attentive waiter made sure we had everything we needed and provided excellent recommendations. The dining experience truly exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this hotel.

Had a great Easter weekend at a beautiful hotel. Loved the two complementary facts offered, which made our stay even more special. The hotel had a perfect location, near an antique market, and the staff were always helpful and informative. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was amazing. The best aspect, however, was the stunning rooftop bar with a breath-taking view of the city.

The only negative aspect was the noise level on Saturday night. We were on a high floor, but the band or whatever was playing at the rooftop bar could still be heard and it was a bit disturbing.
